Welcome to Jaia's Visual Art gallery! Many people knew her as a painter before she was a songwriter, and she considers visual art to be her first love.
Jaia earned her BFA in 2001 from UC Santa Cruz with a concentration in figurative oil painting and was invited to exhibit her thesis project “The Dreamer” in the Mary Porter Sesnon Gallery to much acclaim. She has since shown her evolving work in venues all across the US and is looking forward to painting more now that her children are (mostly) potty trained :)
